MHVillage and Datacomp attend approximately a dozen manufactured housing industry trade shows and meetings on an annual basis, many of which we sponsor, register for as exhibitors, and often volunteer to present during seminars and in educational settings.
From Vegas to D.C. and Pigeon Forge, Tenn. to Chicago, there is a lot to learn at manufactured housing industry conferences, meetings, and trade shows. There is an ideal gathering to attend for any manufactured housing professional who builds homes, owns a community, runs a retail operation, or provides products and services to the industry.
This post will continue to be updated throughout the year to list industry events, locations, venues, and information on why and how to attend. In some cases the coming year’s event is noted by the time of year it typically occurs with exact dates marked as “to be announced” or TBA.

Louisville Manufactured Housing Show

Louisville, Ky. — Kentucky Exposition Center
The Louisville Manufactured Housing Show is the nation’s largest indoor show for manufactured home professionals. The annual gathering is organized by the Midwest Manufactured Housing Federation, supported by the state associations of Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. The show brings out an array of new manufactured home designs, the latest in technology, the best in supplier offerings, and a look at all the newest amenities and offsite-built options.

TexCo brings together community owners, operators, and industry partners for a one-day conference focused on the future of manufactured home communities in Texas. Through concise sessions, attendees will gain insights from experts across key areas shaping our industry — Risk and Resilience, Market and Economy, Policy and Regulation, and Innovation and Operations — all aimed at helping an organization strengthen operations and expand in today’s evolving market. The event also features engaging exhibits and receptions, giving attendees more opportunities to learn and gain industry insights.
MHI Winter Meeting

Hosted each February, the MHI Winter Leadership Roundtable is the first MHI members-only event of the year. This program brings together MHI members to hear from industry experts on topics relevant to a broad group of manufactured housing professionals. Event sessions are followed by an open forum where attendees can share strategies on these issues affecting the industry.

The NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) is the premier global annual event to connect, educate, and improve the residential construction industry. Biloxi Manufactured Housing Show

Biloxi, Miss. — IP Casino Resort and Spa
The South Central Manufactured Housing Institute each year hosts the Biloxi Show for manufactured housing professionals. It is North America’s largest indoor/ outdoor manufactured home trade show, featuring an outdoor village with nearly 50 homes on display, an impressive indoor exhibit hall that showcases the newest features from industry suppliers, as well as educational training to help build a business.
California Manufactured Housing Institute Annual Convention

Palm Springs, Calif. — Omni Rancho Las Palmas
CMHI leadership and members will gather for two days of education, conversation, awards announcements, and fun. The welcome reception is the perfect opportunity to see old friends and meet some new ones. There will be a selection of refreshments and a DJ. The general membership meeting begins Thursday at 10 a.m. followed by an awards luncheon and black-tie banquet dinner.

Washington Manufactured Housing Association’s annual gala will feature speakers Carla Johnson, of Innovation Architect, influencer and marketer Chance Collier, of Chance’s World, and MHI’s Vice President of Policy Teresa Payne. WMHA anticipates an international presence with representatives from British Columbia, and there will be representatives from tribal nations. WMHA’s active volunteer task forces continue work on state advocacy, events, marketing, membership, and workforce development. Members and leadership have become further engaged in capacity building, especially when it comes to the long-range strategic plan through 2030.

Washington, D.C. — Terwilliger Center for Housing
The Terwilliger Center Summit on Housing Supply Solutions held June 18 will be a day-long summit dedicated to finding bipartisan solutions for the nationwide housing crisis. A panel will convene about the opportunities and challenges in increasing attainable housing supply. MOre than a dozen speakers and presenters will be on state through the day, including HUD Secretary Scott Turner. Registration is available for in-person and virtual attendance.
Tennessee Housing Association Annual Meeting

Pigeon Forge, Tenn. — Dollywood’s Heartsong Lodge and Resort

New Mexico Manufactured Housing Association Annual Convention

The NMMHA Annual Convention is the longest-running state manufactured housing convention in the country and is brought to members by the longest-running state association in the country. The meeting serves as an opportunity for retailers, manufacturers, community owners, lenders, suppliers, and installers along with land developers and special guests. The numerous events that comprise the convention’s three-day agenda provide a mix of social, educational, and recreational activities that give the convention a family and vacation atmosphere.

Join the Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi manufactured housing associations to attend banquets, educational seminars, and state-specific continuing education. Elkhart, Ind. — RV/MH Hall of Fame and Conference Center
The RV/MH Hall of Fame each year invites industry professionals, family, and friends to celebrate the recent lineup of hall of fame inductees. The event starts with a cocktail mixer, followed by dinner and the induction ceremonies. The hall in Elkhart details the careers of hundreds of RV and MH professionals, including a library, event center, and museums for each of the industries.

Innovative Housing Showcase/MHI on the Hill

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development each year during National Homeownership Month hosts the Innovative Housing Showcase to provide a large, public display of innovative designs, structures, and advances in housing, particularly with a mind toward energy-efficiency, durability, and availability. Homes on display at the National Mall will include manufactured homes from Cavco and Champion.
SECO National Conference of Community Owners

Atlanta, Ga. — Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel and Convention Center
From industry panels and presentations to roundtable discussions and professional exhibits, the SECO National Conference of Community Owners again seeks to improve on that fresh, compelling interaction and camaraderie. The event provides manufactured housing professionals with four days of high-level interaction, including educational seminars, panels, roundtables, fireside chats, and mini TED talks.
Illinois Manufactured Housing Association Conference and Member Meeting

Illinois members meet for three days in “paradise” to discuss statewide trends, initiatives, and strategies for improving the business climate for manufactured housing professionals.
