MHVillage and Datacomp attend approximately 20 manufactured housing industry trade shows and meetings on an annual basis, many of which we sponsor, register for as exhibitors, and often present in seminars and educational settings.
From Vegas to D.C. and Pigeon Forge, Tenn. to Chicago, there is a lot to learn at manufactured housing industry conferences, meetings, and trade shows. There is an ideal gathering to attend for any manufactured housing professional who builds homes, owns a community, runs a retail operation, or provides products and services to the industry.

Below is a list of manufactured housing industry trade shows and events for the coming year. Many dates and event space details have yet to be confirmed. Louisville Manufactured Housing Show

Louisville, Ky. — Kentucky Exposition Center
The Louisville Manufactured Housing Show is the nation’s largest indoor show for manufactured home professionals. The annual gathering is organized by the Midwest Manufactured Housing Federation, supported by the state associations of Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. The show brings out an array of new manufactured home designs, the latest in technology, the best in supplier offerings, and a look at all the newest amenities and offsite-built options.

MHI Winter Meeting

Hosted each February, the MHI Winter Leadership Roundtable is the first MHI members-only event of the year. This program brings together MHI members to hear from industry experts on topics relevant to a broad group of manufactured housing professionals. Event sessions are followed by an open forum where attendees can share strategies on these issues affecting the industry.
International Builder’s Show

The NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) is the premier global annual event to connect, educate, and improve the residential construction industry. It is a hub for new product launches, construction demonstrations, industry thought-leader sessions, home tours, workshops, and panel discussions. Manufactured home and modular home professionals will showcase their products and services in the convention center and in the outdoor village.

TexCo is a lively event with succinct presentations on manufactured housing industry operations. Texas is one of the industry’s most active states for community expansion and development, as well as a destination for residents of other states where they’ve been priced out of the market. Biloxi Manufactured Housing Show

Biloxi, Miss. — IP Casino Resort and Spa
Formerly held in Tunica, Miss., the South Central Manufactured Housing Institute has moved its annual manufactured home show south to Biloxi. Each year, SCMHI hosts North America’s largest indoor/outdoor manufactured home trade show. The 2024 show features an outdoor village with nearly 50 homes on display, an impressive indoor exhibit hall that showcases the newest features from industry suppliers, as well as educational training to help build a business.
California Manufactured Housing Institute Annual Convention

Palm Springs, Calif. — Omni Rancho Las Palmas
CMHI leadership and members will gather for two days of education, networking, awards announcements, and fun. The welcome reception is the perfect opportunity to see old friends and meet some new ones. There will be a selection of bubbly, a performing magician, and a DJ. The general membership meeting begins Thursday at 10 a.m. followed by an awards luncheon and black-tie banquet dinner.

MHI is pleased to sponsor the upcoming Terwilliger Center Summit on Housing Supply Solutions on June 11. This day-long summit is dedicated to finding bipartisan solutions for the nationwide housing crisis. Innovative Housing Showcase/MHI on the Hill

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development each year during National Homeownership Month hosts the Innovative Housing Showcase to provide a large, public display of innovative designs, structures, and advances in housing, particularly with a mind toward energy-efficiency, durability, and availability. Homes on display at the National Mall will include manufactured homes from Cavco and Champion.
Tennessee Housing Association Annual Meeting

Tennessee Housing Association for its 2024 Annual Meeting carries the theme “Make EVERY Connection Matter”. The event takes places at Dollywood’s newest lodge, and will include a reception dinner, general meeting, golf outing, and educational sessions. Sponsorship opportunities remain available.

There is a return to Orlando with the FMHA Annual Convention, where members and guests will find help from other manufactured housing professionals in making connections or learning best practices. New Mexico Manufactured Housing Association Annual Convention

The NMMHA Annual Convention is the longest-running state manufactured housing convention in the country and is brought to members by the longest-running state association in the country. The meeting serves as a tremendous networking opportunity among retailers, manufacturers, community owners, lenders, suppliers, and installers along with land developers and special guests. The numerous events that comprise the convention’s three-day agenda provide a mix of social, educational, and recreational activities that give the convention a family and vacation atmosphere.

Join the Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi manufactured housing associations to explore valuable networking opportunities, attend banquets, educational seminars, and state-specific continuing education. RV/MH Hall of Fame Induction Dinner & Ceremony

The RV/MH Hall of Fame each year invites industry professionals, family, and friends to celebrate the recent lineup of hall of fame inductees. The event starts with a cocktail mixer, followed by dinner and the induction ceremonies. The hall in Elkhart details the careers of hundreds of RV and MH professionals, including a library, event center, and museums for each of the industries.

Manufactured Housing Institute of South Carolina hosts a reception and dinner, a golf tournament, and two free hours of continuing education. Celebrate what’s great about our industry as we honor the Retail Center, Salesperson, Community, Service/Supplier, and Manufacturing Facility of the Year. Additionally, all of MHISC’s member-led committees will meet and discuss important trends and continue work on projects to help better the industry overall. The Michigan Manufactured Housing Association will hold a VIP Event at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Mich. This special event will be held before the Novi Home Show opens to the general public. MMHA will feature six completely decorated and furnished manufactured homes on display from manufacturers Champion, Skyline, and Clayton. The Novi Home Show will enable more than 6,000 attendees to learn more about today’s manufactured homes. Western Manufactured Housing Communities Association’s annual event blends educational programs with entertainment and networking forums. The Expo will open right after the Kick-Off Lunch on Tuesday. Later in the day, we will once again have the wine tasting event during the Welcome Reception. A dinner buffet is included. Education sessions are on Tuesday and Wednesday, The President’s Dinner/Dance is on Wednesday night, and the meeting wraps with a Thursday Breakfast.
