The Transaction with Meritus Adds 2,100 Homesites in Michigan
YES! Communities, one of the nation’s largest owners and operators of manufactured home communities, announced today that it had acquired a portfolio of nine manufactured home communities comprising over 2,100 residential home sites, all in the state of Michigan, from Meritus Communities of Bloomfield Hills. As a result of the acquisition, the YES! portfolio now includes 188 communities across 17 states, containing over 47,000 home sites. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Steve Schaub, Chief Executive Officer of YES!, said, “We are very pleased to complete this strategic acquisition, which not only adds nine communities to our growing portfolio but also significantly increases our footprint in Michigan, one of the nation’s best markets for manufactured home communities.”
